PERFORMANCE, RESILIENCE & LEADERSHIP at Work
Workshop 1
Workshops are designed to be practical and are often the first time participants realised they have the power to create a space between stimulus and response which we then relate workshop themes. Depending on length, workshops can reveal:
- How present-moment awareness returns pleasure and a sense of control to one’s life
- The capacity for attention-training to enhance effectiveness and reduce stress
- The body’s role in the physiology of stress and appraisal of daily demands
Participants walk away with tools they can use immediately. Workshops can be tailored to workplace needs.
PERFORMANCE, RESILIENCE & LEADERSHIP (& JOY) at HSC Time
Workshop 2
Like its workplace equivalent, this is a practical workshop designed to help senior students manage stress and perform at their best, while enjoying the final years of their school life.
This workshop is personal for EVERMIND’s CLO, Lisa Forrest – it’s the chance to share both the tools and wisdom she would like to have had during her senior years while juggling the competing demands of finishing school and swimming for Australia.
Students take away practical ways to weave mindfulness into their busy lives and simple tools to train the brain to beat stress. This is a half-day, in-school workshop.
